Welcome to Acorn, a comprehensive learning, collaboration, and educational metaverse platform. Your use of our website, application, and services constitutes full acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read this text carefully before registering.

1. User Account

  • Accuracy of Information: You are required to provide accurate and real information (name, grade level, etc.) when registering and completing your profile.
  • Account Responsibility: Maintaining the security of your One-Time Password (OTP) or password is your responsibility. Any activity conducted through your account will be attributed to you.
  • Receiving SMS and Notifications: The user agrees and accepts that the "Sensei" platform and the "Acorn" group are authorized to send informational SMS, verification codes, service news, and customer club messages to the user's registered mobile number via the dedicated line 9982004063. Registering on the site constitutes agreement to receive these messages, and the user waives any right to object later.
  • Ban (Blocking): Platform administrators have the right to temporarily or permanently suspend the accounts of individuals in case of any violation of the rules, infringement of others' rights, or cheating.

2. Rules of Conduct and Participation

  • The Acorn platform is an educational environment. Any use of profanity, harassment of others in chats (DMs and Room Chat), publishing illegal or inappropriate content in workspaces, and disrupting live sessions (Live Rooms) is strictly prohibited.
  • Using third-party tools to cheat in the gamification system (XP, Oxygen, Garden system, and Acorns) is not allowed.

3. Internal Economy, ACoins, and In-App Purchases

  • Nature of ACoin: The virtual currency of the platform (ACoin) only has in-app value and cannot be converted to fiat money or withdrawn from the platform.
  • Purchasing ACoin: Purchasing ACoin packages is done through the official Zarinpal gateway. After a successful transaction, the currency is added to your wallet.
  • No Refund: In-app purchases (including purchasing ACoin packages, access to paid rooms, or purchases from the marketplace) are non-refundable. The only exception is when the connection drops while using Artificial Intelligence (Sensei), in which case the system automatically returns the cost of unused tokens to your ACoin wallet.
  • Paid Access: Purchasing access to rooms, sessions, or learning journeys may be a one-time payment or a periodic subscription (Monthly/Yearly).

4. Marketplace and Creators' Rights

  • Intellectual Property: You retain the intellectual property of the content (such as courses, quizzes, maps, and LbD tools) that you create on the platform.
  • License to Use: By publishing content on Acorn, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform.
  • Selling Content: Creators can sell their content in the Marketplace with pricing based on ACoin. Acorn may establish rules for content approval (Review Queue) before public release.

5. Educational Proctoring and Live Classes

  • Consent to Monitoring: By participating in exams or activating "Focus Mode", you accept that Acorn records your browser behavior (including switching between tabs) and reports it to the Host as a violation.
  • Session Management: Class Hosts have authorities such as muting, kicking out of class, locking camera/microphone, and controlling display content. You are required to comply with the rules set by the Host.
  • Recording Sessions: Hosts can record sessions. Entering a session that is being recorded constitutes your consent.

6. Use of Artificial Intelligence (Sensei and Ostad)

  • The Acorn platform uses third-party AI services (such as GapGPT and Gemini).
  • Accuracy Disclaimer: Although our AI is optimized for educational purposes (aware of your grade level), the generated responses may contain errors (Hallucination). The responsibility for verifying the information provided by AI ultimately lies with the user.
  • Cost of Use: Using the Sensei assistant requires consuming ACoin, which is deducted based on the processing amount (Tokens).

7. Changes to the Rules

Acorn reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Major changes will be communicated to users through System Announcements. Your continued use of the platform after the changes implies acceptance of the new rules.

8. Disclaimer and Warranty

The Acorn platform is provided "As Is" and to the extent of available facilities. We do not provide any guarantees regarding the interruption-free, error-free, or absolute security of the servers, and we will not be responsible for possible internet outages or temporary data loss.
